Chinese Cultural Figures (reporter Su Qing), May 10,The strategic cooperation signing ceremony of the National Library and DTXS Silk Road Investment Holdings Company Limited, together with DTXS Silk Road Investment Holdings Company Limited and the China Cultural Relics Exchange Center, was held in Beijing National Library. The signing signifies that the involved parties will work together to inherit and promote the excellent Chinese traditional culture, promote innovation in cultural undertakings and cultural industries, and achieve high-quality development.
The signing ceremony was attended by Xiong Yuanming, Director of the National Library, Tan Ping, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the China Cultural Relics Exchange Centre, and Lu Jianzhong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DTXS Silk Road Investment Holdings Company Limited, delivered speeches respectively. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, the three parties’ cooperation aims to implement the “Digital Silk Road” proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping in 2017, giving full play to their respective resources and advantages, and taking advanced technology and data elements as the driving force to build the “Cultural Digital Silk Road”. The “Cultural Digital Silk Road” will play its role in serving the construction of the “Belt and Road”, using advanced digital technology to enable the upgrading and high-quality development of the cultural industry as well as cultural and museum affairs, so as to better better promote the transmission and promotion of the excellent Chinese traditional culture and the spirit of the Silk Road embedded in the cultural heritage.
Lv Jianzhong first introduced to the guests the important progress made by DTXS Silk Road Investment Holdings Company Limited in promoting the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy. Tan Ping said that the Chinese Cultural Heritage Exchange Centre has actively participated in the construction of the “Cultural Digital Silk Road”, and makes full use of the development of digital information technology to innovate Chinese cultural symbols and spiritual identity, explore the interpretation and display of dissemination, deepen international exchange and cooperation in cultural relics and cultural heritage, explore the establishment of a digital cultural artwork cross-border trading and circulation platform, and jointly promote the high-quality development and construction of Belt and Road initiative with culture and digital power.

At the signing ceremony, the three parties reached a cooperation intention to further research and demonstrate the construction of a cultural display and exchange base of Chinese excellent traditional culture to foreign countries in the National South China Sea Cultural and Museum Industrial Park to help promote the construction of Hainan’s free-trade port.
